People who are too happy-go-lucky
Know-it-alls

Losing

Stands up for herself
Strong
Fast

Strong
Isn't overly emotional
Weaknesses;; Stubborn
Headstrong
Fiery/Quick temper
Says what she thinks, even if it hurts the other person
Very opinionated
Sometimes has a hard time showing she cares, which can lead to pushing away the people she truly cares about
Erised;; Her greatest desire is to somehow find some kind of happiness, or at least some type of pleasure in life. Whatever that means. To find love, if it exists somewhere out there. She just doesn't want to spend the rest of her life feeling miserable and angry. She wants to somehow find someone who will be able to love her, and put up with her, no matter what kind of crap she might put him through. Someone who would do what her dad didn't do for her mom, and stick around until the end, even if she wasn't the easiest person to put up with. Because she certainly would not be. Not someone who would just leave her when she needed them most.
Patronus;; Lioness. - Before her mom got sick, she was probably about 5 years old, she vaguely remembers going Christmas shopping with her parents. She pointed out everything she wanted that year, and helped pick out some of the gifts for her relatives. It was so much fun, and she even got all the gifts that she had picked out for Christmas that year. It was wonderful.
Boggart;; Her greatest fear is to have to die a horrible drawn out death like her mother die. Forced to live with a debilitating illness until it finally killed her. She is also afraid to die alone.
Dementor;; When her mother died. She was so angry. Her mother had been sick for several years, and had finally just given up. During her last year her mother had become bitter and emotionless due to all she had gone through, both with the disease and with the treatments. Kayleigh had been responsible for taking care of her little sister most of the time, and trying to help take care of her mother as well. It was a lot to handle. She hated that she felt that way, but she had almost felt relieved that it was finally over.
Amortentia;; Chocolate
The smell of flowers
The smell of her shampoo
Any kind of deserts baking
The smell of the house on Christmas
The smell of fresh, clean laundry
The smell after it has just rained
Overall Personality;; Kayleigh is a very smart, quick-witted girl. She knows what she wants, and she knows how to get it. She doesn't like to lose, but unless it is in a flat out competition, such as Quidditch, she will not put forth all of her effort to win. Usually she will sit back and participate just enough to keep the others' interest. Then once the others have all worn themselves out from trying to beat each other, she will put forth a lot more effort, often leading to her coming out on top. She doesn't care how she wins. She doesn't care if she looks like the loser for most of the fight, as long as she comes out on top, that's all that matters. She doesn't care too much about being popular. She cares more about being the least hated. As long as she has a few people that love her, and most people can tolerate her, she is fine. The less straight out enemies you have, the better your chances are at winning.
She likes to put on the front of being in control, and pretend nothing bothers her, but underneath, there is a lot more going on than anyone, even her closest friends, realize. She acts strong and tough, which she is, but underneath she is hurt, and even scared. She is afraid to trust anyone, afraid to get too attached, because anyone can turn on you in an instant. They could turn into a cold, heartless person, or they could just walk out of your life when you need them. So she locks herself away. She doesn't show her sadness or her pain to anyone. She doesn't let anyone see her fear or her weakness. That is unacceptable.
She can be sweet and caring to those close to her, and she can be your best friend. She is very loving and protective of her close friends. She loves to have fun and laugh with her friends, it takes her mind off of everything, and who doesn't like to have a little fun every now and then? However, she does have a fiery temper, and she can be mean. Sometimes it is intentional, and sometimes it is not. She has a tendency to speak her mind, which sometimes ends up hurting the other person. And if you mess with her, or mess with someone close to her, she will be your worst nightmare. She isn't afraid to get ugly or mean. She doesn't have too many close friends, and they are like family to her.

History;; Until she was about 8 years old, Kayleigh's childhood was pretty happy. Her parents took good care of her and her sister and made sure they had everything they needed. Things were great until shortly after she turned 8, when her mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness, which slowly killed her. Through the years her mother slowly became more cold and emotionless due to the stress put on her by both the illness and all the treatments. Kayleigh took care of her sister most of the time, and tried to take care of her mother as best she could when her father was working. This was a huge emotional burden for Kayleigh. She tried to be strong for her sister, and tried to do her best to take care of her. It was during this time, when she was 8 years old. Her mother was having problems, and Kayleigh would go out on her own and hide, sometimes she would cry, sometimes she would scream, and one day when she was crying she made the flowers around her die. This was the first time she showed signs of magical abilities.
When she was 10 and a half or so, her father couldn't take it anymore, and he left. He couldn't bear to watch his wife wither away and die, and he couldn't deal with her bitterness and lack of emotion. He took the girls and left. They visited her occasionally, but Kayleigh never forgave him for that. At the time, she tried to understand why he left, but she was 10, she didn't understand it. She hated seeing her mother that way, and it hurt her when her mother was cold and bitter towards her, but she was still her mother and she loved her. Just after she turned 11, her mother finally passed. Kayleigh was hurt, angry, and somehow relieved. She hated that she felt relieved, even now she hated it, but after all they had gone through, she was almost glad it was over. But not just for their sake, but so her mother didn't have to suffer anymore. It wasn't her fault that she had gotten sick, or that she became the way she was. Despite everything, she was still her mother, and Kayleigh still missed her dearly. The way she was before everything, back when they were happy and she loved them.
It wasn't long after her mother died that Kayleigh started hogwarts. She was still angry, hurt, scared. She missed her mother, and resented her father. Not only had he left her mother, but now he was sending her away. But she was glad to be away, to be somewhere else, somewhere away from those memories. She tried hard in her classes for a while, it got her mind off of things, but it didn't take long for that to pass. Soon she got into Quidditch, and she spent most of her time either practicing, running, or sitting alone somewhere writing. Quidditch and running both got her mind off of hurt feelings, they distracted her, made her happy, she enjoyed them. Writing gave her a way to vent, to let out her frustration and her pain without having to show anyone else that she was wounded, scared, or weak. She still made ok grades, she was smart enough to pass her classes, but she didn't try hard at all unless there was a good reason. The only classes she really tried in were DADA and Charms. She liked those classes, and they were fun, or she thought so anyways.
After graduation Kayleigh, surprisingly, went on to become an auror. She actually rather enjoyed it, and it took her mind off of some of the negative feelings she had, and gave her a purpose beyond just herself. As soon as she graduated and started working she moved away from home, wanting to get away from her father and all the bad memories. She still pretty much has no relationship with her father, but she does continue to see her little sister whenever she can.

Name/Alias;; Laura
Age;; 22
Roleplay Experience;; Around 8 years on and off.
How did you hear about us?;; Friend! (Wolf)
Code Phrase;; The cowards who run
Roleplay Sample;; Kayleigh groaned loudly as Filch went on about being out after dark, and about how he would give a more... fitting punishment if he could. She rolled her eyes, annoyed that she had actually been caught, usually she could sneak around easy enough without being caught. Of course, one couldn't expect such luck to last forever, but you could always hope.
She groaned even louder when he informed her that not only would she be spending her night cleaning trophies, but she would not be alone in detention. As if it weren't bad enough that she was spending her time here rather than following through with her plans for the night, which would have been much more... exciting, to say the least, she had to spend the night with God knows who.
Filch shoved some cleaner and a rag into her hands and she growled a little. With a glare and an annoyed sigh she approached the trophy room, praying that she wouldn't be stuck with some annoying kid or someone she hated. After all, her night had already gone to hell in a hand basket, life was obviously determined to screw with her tonight, so there was no chance it would be someone that she liked. After all, there weren't too many people she liked to start with.
She slowly made her way to the door way and entered the trophy room, bracing herself for the sight of whomever she would be stuck in this stupid place with. As she entered her eyes immediately fell on the boy who had already started "cleaning" the trophies. It was Draco Malfoy. As expected, it wasn't someone she liked, but at least he wasn't someone she hated either. She wasn't quite sure what she thought of him, actually. Perhaps after tonight that would change.
She took a deep breath and walked further into the room. She walked straight to a trophy and began cleaning without a word. If there was to be any conversation tonight, she would not be the one to start it, she rarely was, unless someone just ticked her off and deserved a good talking to.
