Overall Personality;; To Mattias, there is nothing more important that honesty. He thrives to have someone in his life who is capable of being honest and who can keep him from becoming unfaithful. He has had several mixed up relationships in his life and therefore love has become a rather discouraging thing for him. He has been let down several times in his young life by beautiful women and so when it comes time for him to actually have a relationship, he has trouble remembering how to stay faithful.

He has a style all of his own. He loves to sing, and loves to write, but hates singing for other people. He'll only do it when someone is truly upset and he knows it will make them smile. He hates to see others upset, especially women of any age. He will always try to comfort them, regardless of the fact of if they are older or younger than him.

His biggest aspiration has been to be a teacher and make a positive impact on other people's lives. The same way Professor McGonagall did for him several years ago. He learned his first spells from her and she aided him with becoming an Animagi. His patronus shape is an Australian Shephard puppy, and his form is that as well. He has been known to make plenty of people smile with this.

History;; Mattias Jackson was born into a Pureblood family, who were all strong followers of the Dark Lord. He was born and raised to be the best he could be for when the Dark Lord would need him. His parents told him stories about how when the time came, he would be needed to serve in his army. Mattias never questioned that until he was six, when his mother was telling him a story about how the Death Eaters would get rid of Mudbloods and Muggles and that was when he put up his biggest fight about being a Death Eater. He had been so enraged with the idea at six that he had broken every piece of china in his mother's vanity that had been knocked over as his first sign of magic.

Whatever occured after that point, he couldn't remember. He remembered being terrified of his mother and father all at once and locking himself in the bathroom until his father had burst down the door. He forgot what had happened after that moment, but for several more years was raised to believe that it was his one true calling, to become a Death Eater. As he went through school, he received High marks on his OWLS and NEWTS, earning him the ability to apply to go to the Wizarding College and further his education to become a teacher after Professor McGonagall had impacted his life so greatly.

During his first year of college, he went out with two girls, each of them cheating on him several times. After another two years, he decided to get back on the horse, and this time she used him for his money. He learned quickly after that he could never trust anyone again. He didn't want to trust anyone again. After his final year in college, he returned to Hogwarts. He met with Professor McGonagall and asked her if she would be willing to teach him how to become an Animagi. She was confused at first why he asked her, and he simply stated that she was his favorite teacher and he saw no one better to do the job.

When the battle occurred, Mattias was no where to be found. That was when his mother has been killed. She had fought loyally until the end. Mattias grieved the loss of his mother in his own way, by breaking off his ties to his father and brother completely. His brother, when Mattias was 26, decided to introduce his 13 year old daughter to his brother, shortly before the battle. When his brother told him, Mattias took in his Niece after his brother's fiancee was killed in the battle and Garrison proved unstable to take care of her. Even after the last two years, he has heard nothing from his brother to inquire about his daughter. [/size]

Mattias rose bright and early that morning, walking to the back bedroom and knocking on the door. "Hurry up, 'Nessa. You'll be --" A fury of black hair raced past him, wand clutched in hand and trunk tugged behind her. It seemed to slow her little. Mattias laughed and stooped down, taking up the trunk. "Whoa, slow down there. I woke you up because I thought you'd fight me. Not be ready. We've still got an hour." Vanessa stuck out her lower lip at him and he laughed again, placing the trunk down. She wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him. "But I wan't to go now!" She whined. Mattias smiled. "Come now, you know you only get to go this morning because I work there, you know that, right? Otherwise you'd have to wait until Hogwarts Express got here." He pointed out.

Vanessa had become something close to a daughter to him. The very idea that she would be leaving him in only a few short years made his heart ache. He didn't want to be alone. She was a bubbly joy that filled the house. Ever since his brother had broken off communications with his daughter, she seemed happier here. It took a little getting used to on both their parts. But according to her, he was doing a great job. Even if he felt like there were days he failed. "Come on, let's go get something in your stomach. It's still to early to leave."[/size]
