Overall Personality;; Most of his schoolmates would say Jerry has a "cool" personality, likely because he acts like a typical teenager who likes attention when it makes him feel important. And he's known to have a good sense of humour. He gloats and exagerates at times, though he doesn't necessarily seek the spotlight, just really enjoys it when he does get the chance to be acknowledged by members of his own house or those he respects/admires.
Though he is a very loyal friend, Jerry has a reputation of being unreliable and lazy to those who aren't very close to him or not used to his company. If he doesn't want to do something, he simply won't do it. Unless in dire circumstances, his decisions remain firm as he has a stubborn nature and unwavering self-preservation. He is hard to emotionally blackmail and rarely feels guilty for upsetting someone if he doesn't deem it to be his fault. He can be a bit harsh in his teasing, but rarely comes off as being a bully or a overall nasty person. Jerry has a carefree nature and likes to do things he considers worth doing, or to side with those he believes will benfit himself and his goals. The only exception is his own friends, as he will always stand up for them and is fiercely determined to support them if they need him.

He's not overly studious, but cares enough about his grades to not ignore his schoolwork. He enjoys sports, so he's quite fit and is a good flier. Jerry does better with theory than practical lessons, despite his dislike for taking endless notes.
He is considered lucky because he always seems to have good luck even when he's doing something hopeless (it doesn't mean things always turn out good for him, but at least they're not as bad as they could have been), except when it comes to girls. Jerry is convinced he'll never get a girlfriend in his life because he always manages to embarass himself in front of them. He usually keeps to himself, so some may consider him a loner until they get to know him. It often takes a while for others to realise he's clever with keeping up appearances and making people assume certain things about him.

Jerry has come from a long line of half Muggles and Magic relatives. He doesn't mind as he believes there is no real greater side. Muggles work hard for what they do and Witches/Wizards fight hard against the more evil of their kind. His father was a wizard, a great Quiddtich player just like many other generations in their family. His mother was a Muggle and described as being quite intellegent and carefree. So fair to say, he takes after both of his parents almost equally.
When he was seven, Jerry was making pancakes with his mother in the kitchen. They usually had house elves for that, but his mother wished for some bonding. She told him that they will make blueberry pancakes, while Jerry wanted them filled with chocolate. A childish tantrum ensued which resulted in a kitchen full of pancake batter and flour. Those pretty small, but harmless explosions were recognized by his mother as Jerry's first sign of magic, something her husband told her it would happen at that age. It was one of Jerry's best days of his life.
Unfortunately though, both his parents divorced when he was about eight and he hardly saw his mother, which went on for years. His mother then remarried with a Muggle and chose a life away from both Jerry and his father, hense the Wizarding world.
Since Jerry started at Hogwarts, it had been just his father and himself for over a year and he found it hard at first but soon got past that, until his father was killed in his fifth year under unknown circumstances. It has been an unfortunate year for Jerry, because shortly before his father was killed, Jerry told him that he loves both genders. The last words his father ever said to him were 'You're not my son anymore'.
Jerry spends as much time at Hogwarts as possible but when he isn't at school he stays with his grandfather Carlos, who is also a Wizard and great Quiddtich player. Jerry does not understand why the houses are so divided or why pure bloodseems to important to some, but he has always been accepting of any house since his family comes from a large variety and more than a few had been sorted in each and every house at some point. Jerry takes pride in being a Wizard and enjoys Hogwarts as to him it's always been where he feels safest and most at home. [/size]

Roleplay Sample;; Thomas exhaled as he reached the top of the stairs and eyed the fat lady. He breathed the password and than entered into the common room, looking around for any signs of evesdroppers or potential interuptions. Finding no one around apart from a second year girl with glasses who was drawing a great distance away, he turned and approached a sofa by the dim fire.
Thomas sank into the comforts of the sofa and frowned lightly while waiting for Lailee to join him.

'I would say this is official buisness' He said to her, his tone low but entirely un-suspicious (a talent he'd learned well). 'Although that's a different matter. The main thing I wanted to talk about what that we have a er...slightly annoying issue involving Joey this afternoon. As you know, the flying lessons are after lunch and we were going to talk to McGonagall then but there is a problem...we also have a homework session at that same time and you know we can't skip out on that'.

'With any luck, she won't be the one supervising the session, but I know you'll either have your homework done or brush through it with ease, no offence...it's just fact' Thomas shrugged. 'I however...' He winced slightly and tried to look innocence but was failing terribly.
'I'm not sure what homework we do have or if it'll actually be hard, honestly. I was wondering if you know and if you could give me a hand with it? I'm usually good at it but lately with term starting and all...that and I tend to daydream and take my time' Thomas sighed and glanced sideways at her. 'I don't want to waste any time, we need to be there for Joey and that means we need to get McGonagall as soon as possible' He added. [/size]
