I don't know if all of you have heard this all ready, but today at 9:30 there was a shooting in Connecticut. A gunman entered an elementary school (Children ages 5-9) and shot and killed 18 students, and six teachers. He then killed himself after the shooting. Two more students were transported to the hospital and died there. There has only been one alleged survivor.
I just want to pay tribute to these families. They have gone through a lot; especially right before the holidays. I only wrote about this because I have a five year old sister, and it was hard for me to listen to this today. I am not religious and I understand if you are not as well, but I can safely say that the families are in my thoughts and (for this case) prayers.

It is definitely a horrible thing. I have 7 younger siblings, one is 5 and one is 11, so it is definitely something that was hard for me to hear, to imagine that happening to them.
These families will be in my prayers.

These families are in my prayers.
I have a 4 year old adoptive boy at home with me and I hear things like that and feel a terrible loss. I can't even imagine what their families are going through. May they find peace.
