.She remembered it like it was yesterday when she decided to work in England to improve her English. The English language was beautiful in its own right. She enjoyed it very much and working at Gringotts Wizarding Bank, how she was so blessed to have met a nice guy. Bill Weasley was her angel the whole time she was learning more of his language, an angel in disguise that she knew nothing about. Learning from him was really fun and it was far from work as well. Bill was everything in a man she had always wanted, they connected almost instantly.
She worked there a couple of months when she looked up hearing his question about having dinner with him, she accepted the offer in a heart beat. She remembered being so excited her first true date, sure she dated but with no one like Bill. His eyes captivated her and made her just want to be a better person. Fleur was the kind of woman who spoke her mind, was very blunt and even hurt people because of it. But she tried to hold her tongue around Bill, he had such a caring nature. And it made her to want to be someone different for him.
The date was remarkable and to this day she sometimes found herself going back in her memories to see how they began. It was nice to know there was someone out there who seemed to understand her as a person. Who did not get on her nerves who seemed to want to really get to know the woman she was. After that date her heart beat, beat to the pace of how he walked almost. And in the back of her head she was afraid that this was not meant to last. And she was half right any way.
Once they began dating steadily something horrible happened, The Battle of the Astronomy Tower. So much had been lost but she fought along side everyone, to try and end all of this chaos to have peace something everyone wanted. But when she looked up at the tower that had been taken out her eyes teared up knowing there were people in there. She grew rather angry and wanted to frankly kick some ass, and frankly she did not know what was to happen next until it happened. She had gotten split up from Bill and did not know where he was.
But then before her eyes she saw a werewolf taking him down, everything instantly stopped around her. The shouts of spells and the yelling just stopped. Only thing she could hear in that moment was the beating of her own heart and her breathing. Her breathing was steady but heavy, and she almost collapsed onto her knees but she stayed up on her own two feet. Closing her dark blue eyes, her heart pounding and getting louder and louder, she clenched her hand that did not have her wand in it. And clenched it tightly.
She opened up her eyes with a rather determined look on her face, and even though the danger she ran for him. The werewolf had left and she collapsed onto her knees before him. At first she thought he was dead, he was not moving and she could not tell if he was breathing. Tears wield up in her eyes when she closed her eyes tears escaped her eyes as her tears escaped there hidden prison behind her eye lids. Everything she had worked so hard for was being destroyed in the blink of an eye everything she loved.
But then she felt a hand on her arm and she slowly opened up her eyes and looked down seeing he was okay, she smiled as she wrapped her arms carefully around him. He was in so much pain, and seeing the scratch she would not worry a bout it. She got him some help, and it was about the same time he asked her to be his wife. The words fell from his lips, as she clutched his hand in hers and said she would be his wife. She knew even then that no one or nothing would separate them.
These memories flooded Fleur's head as she looked over at the horizon, she had a long sleeved blue shirt on since it was a bit chilly. The wind blowing in her blonde hair as she sighed happily. It was amazing how one could be so caught up in her own memories. She was content for the first time in her life, knowing she had a husband that loved her more then anything. It was amazing how his family welcomed him into the family, and she bore the last name Weasley with much pride in her heart and soul and knew this was meant for her.
She had no way of knowing what would be thrown in there faces, but she knew most importantly she had a husband and a family that cared what happened to her. It was a blessing from the start, sure she had her own parents but still. There was something lacking there and could never pick out exactly what it was. But she knew one thing she was thankful for, and it was for Bill. Even thinking of his name put a smile on her lips. She silently sighed and thought for a moment about her husband.
She was very thankful that if the werewolf had to attack it was where it was in the more human form, she saw the effects of the werewolf in him but it did not matter to her. She loved the man he was, he was hers and she was his and wanted a future with him and did not know where life would take them. But they would deal with it side by side, not afraid of what could happen. And she thought she heard something and slowly turned her head. Fleur smiled a little thinking it was Bill, as the wind continued to caress her skin.
