Law and Order of Potions

the LAW and ORDER of POTIONS class

~1~ Don't be late. Late students will NOT be accepted in this class. When a student is late 10 points will be removed from their house and they will not be admitted into the chambers. If this happens more then four times in a semester there will be detentions given out! If students skip without a valid reason it is considered being late. (once a lesson thread is open you have two days to reply to it, after which time you are considered late. If you have just joined the site and wish to join the thread PM me so I know you are not late to the lesson)

~2~ No fighting, horse-play or talking in this class. There will be no sign of violent or disruptive activities within this class. If you are caught fighting or disrupting class you will loose 5 house points and get a detention. Potions is not a play room. It is a serious art and study area. Talk is allowed during group exercises and is encouraged. However, please refrain from excessive chatter with other teams as everyone must concentrate.

~3~ Assignments are handed out during the lessons, if they are practical assignments they are to be RPed in the thread for that lesson and your mark will be assigned based on your post(s) in the lesson thread. All marks will be PMed to the student individually. All Outstanding potions receive an automatic 10 house points on top of the grade. Any written assignment (there won't be much of these) will be expected in two weeks from the date they are assigned, via PM please. (in a given year there will be 3, to pass the class you must complete at least one)

~4~ Office hours are all the time. My office is open. Always will be. Since Lorcan practically lives there. There is no need to make an appointment. However if you so desire please PM me with the time, date and reason for you visit. If you desire extra help on assignments PM me please. If you desire practical help or tutoring I have a set of 'tutoring slots' at the end of the school day where you may drop by to attend. If you wish to be a tutor please PM me. For the successful 'help' of a tutor both tutor and tutee will receive 5 points for their house. (grades must show improvement to get this reward)
