Tobias was walking out of the castle and down the steps followed by his three male friends and his one female friend. The four of them made up the total of his gang. They were just making their way towards the lake when Tobias stopped. Everyone stopped beside him. Curious as to why their leader had stopped so suddenly. Tobias had seen Jerry. Tobias' favourite guy to pick on. A small smile twisted the boy's otherwise neutral face. His eyes lit up with a faint light of pleasure. This was turning out to be a good day. He really did enjoy tormenting the Gryffindor lad.
"Look who it is," He said sneering a she pointed out the Gryffindor to his friends. They all turned their gaze to him. "I think we need to go and pay him a visit, what do you say?" he asked his friends turning to see their faces. They laughed and he let a small smile curve his lips again. It quickly faded as he turned back to face Jerry. His eyes locked on the lad and something stirred inside of him. Something he didn't recognize. For a moment he hesitated. Not certain why the thought of tormenting the Gryffindor suddenly sent a shiver down his spine, or why he suddenly felt strangely more interested in knowing the other. Something was wrong here.
"Earth to Tobias!?" came a voice from beside him and he turned his eyes to face the young woman a dangerous glare on his face. Daring her to continue. "Everything alright with you man?"
"Everything's fine!" he growled angrily. Storming off down the hill towards Jerry annoyed that he had hesitated, annoyed that the other had noticed. Annoyed that he had strange emotions running havoc with his thoughts. Pushing all these thoughts aside he held the anger tightly around himself. Giving him an escuse to lash out.
"JERBAL!" He called out in a malicious tone using the nickname he had chosen for the boy a few years ago when his first torment of the other had begun. His eyes glared sharply at the lad as he stopped just in front of him. He was less than a hands breath away and his wand was out in his hand. He had a faint trace of a smile on his face and he was glaring hatred and daggers at the lad. Purely because he felt that somehow his twisted emotions were because of Jerry. "Ready for some punishment?" he leered out at last after a short pause. The others simply laughed. Ready to either join in if Tobias showed signs of needing help. Or simply sit back and enjoy the show.

Jerry was happy that he got a free afternoon. It was a rare thing in seventh year, especially with NEWT exams approaching in the summer. It seemed like it was still a long way to go, but he knew from personal experience with OWLs, that they would be here before you could say Quidditch. The Gryffindor wanted to make some use of the bright sun, which was the main reason he was lying on a secluded part of the lake, with his leather bound sketch book in his hands. It was one of his most prized possessions, filled with animal, plant and sometimes, even sketches of people. It was useful to have a thing like that. Even better than a diary. It seemed as if nothing would disturb Jerry's peaceful afternoon outside. Oh, how wrong, so very wrong he was.
Gryffindor would lie to say that he was not surprised when that annoying voice, belonging to an even more annoying person, disturbed his sketching. Out of all Slytherins, older or younger, Tobias Adenauer seemed to bully him more than the rest. Which was a feat, seeing the Slytherin was a fifth year and Jerry a seventh one. Usually, the Gryffindor would have no problem with knocking Tobias on his butt, but he was almost always flocked by his faithful group of bodyguards and groupies, as Jerry called them. He did wonder what had he done to Merlin to piss him off so and send a swarm of bullies toward Jerry in his last year of Hogwarts. When the boy actually wanted to make his life better. Sighing softly, Jerry stood up and put the leather journal into his inner robes' pocket, and took out his wand. Just in case the Slytherins got any ideas. But then again, they always did.
"Snake," Jerry bit as angrily back, growling slightly at the younger Slytherin. The hand in which he held the wand was so tight that his knuckles turned white. He looked at the group that was a bit further away, wary of them in case they would join Tobias. Which Jerry was certain they would, if in whatever would happen next, the Slytherin were to lose. "And what would that punishment be?" Jerry asked, painting a bored look on his face, though in reality, he was very tense. "Punches, hexes, visit in the lake, name it, you or any other bully did it already," Jerry snarled, but he was slowly losing control. It seemed as if all the years of bullying were slowly building up to the point of explosion.

Tobias leered at Jerry. The way Jerry jumped up and confronted them, the way he held his wand so tightly told Tobias that Jerry wasn’t in the mood. Somehow this caused the other to hesitate slightly. Tobias looked over at his gang and wondered, would they back down if he did. But he knew better. They wouldn’t, if anything, they would just make him feel the sting of their tormenting ways. Well Tobias had no reason to back down come to think of it. It was very strange for him to think it even. Much less hesitate. This only served to confuse the Slytherin.
He threw his shoulders back making his decision. With a quick flick of his wand before the other could know what he was planning he hissed in a cold dead dispassionate voice ”Levicorpus!”
He knew if he didn’t act soon then Angel would, and she wouldn’t be nice at all. She was just as likely to hex him as Jerry. No one could trust her. He certainly didn’t. His back to her and the others he glared hard at Jerry. Why was he even considering being nice to Jerry. This didn’t make sense and the lack of sense was causing him to become way to confused. Which only fueled his anger and made him want to hurt Jerry even more. Convinced that the other had to have done something to him.

Jerry was expecting that Tobias would use one of many hexes and jinxes the bullies usually resorted to when attacking other people. So it was safe to say that the Gryffindor was taken totally by surprise. "AIE!" he yelled when he was hoisted up in the air by his feet, so he dangled upside down a few inches from the ground. Jerry scoffed when he failed to defend himself, and allowed that he was taken by surprise. "This is ridiculous," Jerry murmured and crossed the arms on his chest. He glared back at Tobias, or at least he tried to, because his dirty blond hair kept getting in the way. It seemed that today all deities that existed were against the Gryffindor keeper.
"You got me Adenauer, you must feel so proud to pick on a Gryffindor, who was just minding his own business," Jerry snarled. All those years of bullying were creeping up on him, and he was about a rat's tail close to snapping. The seventh year tried to replace hurt with anger and if he wasn't dangling upside down right now, Tobias would have met first hand with some Muggle sports, namely boxing. And not the respective kind either. While bullying was not an uncommon occurrence in Jerry's life, there were two Slytherins who wanted to make his life a living hell more than others. One was currently standing in front of him and the other was a fellow seventh year, Alexander Raves. For the latter, the feeling was mutual and he knew just exactly what he had done to piss him off, but Jerry knew nothing of the reason behind Adenauer's actions. "I have a question for you snake," Jerry said, and tried to reach his wand, but it was currently on the ground, far from his reach, so his actions were futile. "What did I do to you exactly?" he asked, glaring at the group huddled not far away for good measure. While he was waiting for an answer, the seventh year wondered why wasn't Tobias doing something or other to him. In the previous encounters the Slytherin didn't hesitate to hex him, so why was he hesitating now?

Tobias was caught by surprise at the sound of Jerry's cry and he almost lost the curse as he heard it. The next words that Jerry spoke stung Tobias to the corse of his being. "You got me Adenauer, you must feel so proud to pick on a Gryffindor, who was just minding his own business" resounded in his head. Tobias had to look away from the figure hanging before him as the hurt mirrored in Jerry's eyes caused his resolve to shake. Staring at his friends he met Angel's gaze and he knew. She could see he was hesitating. She was trying to figure out why he wouldn't continue. He knew Angel would jump in soon if he didn't do something.
He turned to fix Jerry as he spoke again. His words shattered Tobias' resolve completely and the spell vanish as the weak words left his mouth of their own. "we were bored, and you where there," he realized how weak an excuse that was for a reason to pick on the other. Another thing caved into his mind shattering his desire to further antagonize the other. He was a bully. The very thing he hated he had become. His body began to tremble slightly as the realization of this slammed hard into him. He wasn't power, this wasn't power, he was nothing more than his father. A bully. Anger slammed into him and he wanted to curse someone. He wanted someone else to hurt because he didn't like how he felt. He raised his wand at Jerry and prepared to curse him, but again he hesitated. Not casting the spell.
